The Yankee Scoring Machine (Yanks 10, Orioles 2)

The Yankees and Orioles were neck and neck in this game. It was 3-2 going into the ninth inning. The tensions were high, drama was unfolding.

And then the Yankees came to life. They scored 7 runs, all of them earned, in a stunning display of hitting power and skill. When the dust finally settled, the Yankees were ahead 10-2.
10-2.

I'm running out of adjectives to describe the way this team plays. I don't care if it was the Orioles: The Yankees have been doing this repeatedly over the last few weeks, getting into close games early, but then, often in shocking fashion, suddenly blowing teams out.

And all this has got me thinking that it's going to take a truly heroic pitching performance in the playoffs to beat this Yankee lineup. The other team's starters and all of their bullpen will have to perform at their very best in every inning of every game against these guys, because when the Bombers encounter even the hint of weak pitching, they transform into an unstoppable scoring machine.(video of the machine in action)
Beware!
